NEC Australia today announced the appointment of four new executives to join MD, Alan Hyde’s senior management team. NEC is creating new roles to support the organisation’s growth strategy.Mr. Bob Lanigan has been at NEC for five years and is promoted into the role of Unified Communications Sales Director, responsible for growing the highly successful UC business for NEC in Australia.
Ms. Chris Munro will assume the role of Director of Solutions Management and Sales Operations overseeing all NEC’s sales operations and support. She brings 20 years experience in ICT with particular expertise in IT professional services and joins from KPMG where she was Head of Strategy and Sales.
Ms. Lynette Elliott joins as Marketing and Business Strategy Director to raise NEC’s market awareness and brings a more marketing led approach to the organisation. She has a wealth of IT leadership experience, most recently at vividwireless.
Recognising the importance of the channel as key route to market for NEC, Mr. Anthony Carilla will be promoted into a new role as National Channel Director, responsible for all indirect sales in Australia and building strong, mutually beneficial channel relationships. He has been with NEC for four years and has a wealth of experience in the channel environment.

The new appointments join Mr. Ross Magee who was appointed Director of Customer Delivery in February, and was previously the Managing Director of Ajilon Australia, an information technology and business consulting organisation. Ross has held a number of senior executive positions in Australia, Asia and the USA with IBM, American Management Systems, PricewaterhouseCoopers Australia and KAZ Group. He has more than 25 years leading and successfully growing business units in management and IT consulting and services.
Chris Munro joined on March 21 with Lynette Elliott joining on April 11.
